Frequently Asked Questions
Menuverse is built for real restaurants, real dishes, and real guest decisions. Our AI-assisted tools are meant to polish venue-provided media into cinematic menu experiences, not invent food that a guest cannot order.
Does Menuverse generate fake food for marketing?
No. Menuverse is designed around real source material from the restaurant: actual dishes, beverages, menus, prices, and venue-approved item details.
Glow-Up media may improve framing, lighting, motion, color, vertical formatting, and menu overlays, but the published experience should still represent what the venue actually serves. Menuverse is not intended to fabricate unavailable dishes, add false ingredients, exaggerate portions, or create misleading menu promises.
How is this different from fully AI-generated food advertising?
Fully synthetic food advertising can show a dish, garnish, portion, or preparation that never existed in the kitchen. Menuverse takes the opposite approach: start from real venue-provided media, preserve the dish identity, and use AI-assisted processing to make the menu easier to understand, browse, and crave.
- Real source media remains the starting point for menu items.
- Owner review is required before guest-facing publication.
- Prices, allergens, dietary tags, macros, availability, and item descriptions remain the venue's responsibility.
- Stylized output should never imply ingredients, health claims, or serving sizes that are not true.
What does the video prompting agent do?
The prompting agent turns real menu inputs into structured creative direction for the Glow-Up pipeline. It can combine the item name, category, ingredients, dietary notes, macro details, venue style, desired format, and uploaded media into a focused video brief.
The agent should describe the real item beautifully, not invent a different item. It should preserve the source-visible food, serving vessel, portion logic, and menu promise.
What makes a strong Glow-Up input?
Strong outputs start with clear, truthful inputs. The best prompt package gives the system enough context to enhance the real item without guessing.
- A clear source photo or approved source video of the actual dish or drink.
- The exact item name, price, category, and any key ingredients.
- Dietary flags, allergen notes, calories, protein, ABV, caffeine, or other macro details when applicable.
- The intended output format, such as vertical reel, square card, poster crop, or menu preview.
- Style direction such as warm, cinematic, high-contrast, bar-forward, fine dining, cafe, or casual.
- Exclusions, especially ingredients, props, labels, hands, utensils, or claims that should not appear.
Can owners review and regenerate results?
Yes. Menuverse expects owners to review item names, prices, ingredients, allergen meaning, dietary labels, macro details, and media before publication. If an output changes the food promise, the owner should reject it, revise the source input, or regenerate from a cleaner real source.
What are customer intent analytics?
Customer intent analytics are aggregate signals that help a venue understand what diners are interested in. Depending on the plan and configuration, these signals may include entry events, item views, repeat views, taps, Ready to Order signals, popular-item ranking, and similar menu interaction patterns.
These analytics are designed to help restaurants improve menus, staffing, media quality, pairing extensions, and service timing. Menuverse does not need to turn a guest's menu browsing into a public identity for the restaurant to learn what is performing.
Who owns the source media and generated menu assets?
Restaurants should only upload media they own or have permission to use. Menuverse needs a platform license to process, display, host, optimize, and deliver the resulting menu assets as part of the service. More detail is available in the Content Rights & Platform License and Privacy Policy.
What should a guest do if media feels misleading?
Guests should ask the venue about ingredients, allergens, preparation, pricing, and availability before ordering. If a Menuverse-powered item appears materially misleading, contact the venue directly or review Menuverse Trust & Safety resources.
Founding Partner Program
Answers about Menuverse's limited Founding Partner launch offer, the 30-Day Guarantee, the Tap Kit, and the included Menu Experience Credit. These answers summarize the offer; the complete binding terms are in our Founding Partner Program Terms.
What is the Founding Partner Program?
The Founding Partner Program is Menuverse's limited launch opportunity for select hospitality venues. Founding Partners receive Signature-level access at the Essential founding price, along with a configured Menuverse Tap Kit, a $99 Menu Experience Credit, dedicated launch support, and a 30-Day Founding Partner Guarantee.
We're investing in getting you live because we're confident you'll see the value of Menuverse in your real venue.
What is the 30-Day Founding Partner Guarantee?
You have 30 days to experience Menuverse in your actual venue with your guests. If Menuverse isn't the right fit for your venue during those first 30 days, you can cancel and receive a refund of your eligible subscription payment.
No long-term subscription commitment is required to continue if you decide Menuverse isn't right for your venue.
What exactly gets refunded?
The 30-Day Founding Partner Guarantee applies to your eligible subscription payment only, which is the annual prepaid subscription amount you actually paid for the Founding Partner plan.
The one-time $99 Tap Kit activation and associated physical-product charges are not refundable because they cover the preparation, provisioning, and physical hardware provided to your venue. Menu Experience Credits and other add-on services are also not refunded under the guarantee.
Do I get to keep the Tap Kit if I cancel?
Yes. The Menuverse Tap Kit is yours to keep. The $99 activation covers the physical hardware and its preparation for your venue. If you exercise the 30-Day Founding Partner Guarantee, you keep the Tap Kit even though your Menuverse subscription ends.
How many menu videos do I receive?
Your Founding Partner package includes a $99 Menu Experience Credit rather than a guaranteed fixed number of individual videos. The amount of content produced can vary depending on the type of menu, source materials, production requirements, and the best way to create an effective initial Menuverse experience for your venue.
Our goal isn't to maximize a video count. It's to get your venue live with an experience that demonstrates the value of Menuverse.
When does my 30-day period begin?
Your 30-day evaluation period begins on the Activation Date, which is the date Menuverse activates your account and your Founding Partner experience is first made available for use in your venue. Your Menuverse team will work with you during onboarding to get your initial experience configured and ready for use.
Do I have to use Menuverse every day during the 30-day period?
No. There is no daily usage requirement or minimum number of guest interactions required to qualify for the guarantee. We encourage you to put Menuverse into real-world use so you can evaluate the experience with your staff and guests, but the decision to continue is yours.
Is there a catch?
No hidden usage requirement. We want you to make your decision based on what you experience in your own venue. The Founding Partner Guarantee exists because we're confident enough in Menuverse to invest in getting you live before asking you to commit to the full year.
What happens if I cancel after the 30-day period?
The 30-Day Founding Partner Guarantee applies only during the initial 30-day evaluation period. After that period, your annual Founding Partner subscription remains subject to the applicable subscription and cancellation terms.
What happens to my Menuverse content if I cancel?
Menuverse is a hosted platform. Your menu experiences are delivered through Menuverse's software and hosted services. If your subscription is cancelled, access to subscription-based Menuverse services, including hosted content delivery and streaming, will end in accordance with the applicable Terms and Conditions.
You keep the physical Tap Kit, but the Tap Kit may no longer play Menuverse-hosted experiences once the subscription ends.
Can I purchase additional menu content?
Yes. Additional Menu Experience Credits may be available if you want to expand your menu experience beyond the initial Founding Partner allocation. Additional credits are offered separately at Menuverse's then-current rates.
Why doesn't Menuverse simply give me a fixed number of videos?
Because every venue is different. A 15-item cocktail menu and a 100-item restaurant menu don't need the same content strategy. During the Founding Partner launch, we're focused on creating the most effective initial experience for each venue rather than producing a predetermined number of videos just to hit a quota.
What support do Founding Partners receive?
Founding Partners receive dedicated launch support to help configure the Tap Kit, prepare the initial Menuverse experience, and get the system working in their venue. Founding Partners are part of Menuverse's initial launch cohort, so their feedback also helps shape the product as we expand.
Why is the Founding Partner offer limited?
The Founding Partner Program is intentionally limited to our initial launch cohort. This allows Menuverse to work closely with participating venues, provide a higher level of launch support, and learn from real-world hospitality environments before expanding the program more broadly.
Is the Founding Partner price available forever?
The Founding Partner pricing and launch benefits are part of a limited launch offer. Future customers may not receive the same pricing, credits, hardware benefits, support, or guarantee.
What happens if Menuverse doesn't work for my venue?
That's exactly what the 30-day period is for. Put it on the table. Let your guests experience it. Let your staff use it. See how it fits into your operation.
If, after experiencing Menuverse in your real venue, you decide it isn't the right fit, you can exercise the 30-Day Founding Partner Guarantee and receive a refund of your eligible subscription payment.
We're willing to invest in getting you live because we're confident you'll see the value.
